GED classes

  • Metro North Adult Basic Education (ABE) can help adults prepare for the General Education Development (GED®) exam. Several class opportunities are offered during the year. The GED® exam is for adults ages 19 and older or 17 and 18 with an age waiver from the state of Minnesota who want to earn an alternative high school credential.
Instruction focuses on math, science, social studies, reasoning through language arts, and writing skills. Classes also work on critical thinking skills and computer skills needed to take the GED® exam.
